Iris Dillon has more than 20 years experience in office administrative work.  As the Office Manager for Magellan Commercial Realty, Iris not only “runs” the office, but also provides strong support to the President and the entire Magellan team.

Prior to joining Magellan Commercial Realty in July of 2004, Iris worked for Harkinson Investment Corporation in Dallas. Before moving to the real estate industry, her prior experience was in Telecommunications.  Iris spent 12 years with MCI Telecommunications as a Staff Assistant to the Senior Manager and as a Dispatch Technician. She also worked at SITA (Societe International De Telecommunications Aeronautiques) as an SLA Analyst and as a member of its Customer Satisfaction Department.

Born in Belfast, Ireland, then residing in Glasgow, Scotland, Iris and her family made the long trans-Atlantic journey to Ellis Island in New York in the 1950s on the Queen Elizabeth. The family made Texas their new home in the United States.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to her four grandchildren’s activities, movies, playing cards and volunteering for the Irving Lake Association, The Vilbig Bass Club and being a greeter at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX.

Iris currently lives in Irving, where she and her husband, Steve, have resided for over 20+ years.
