Brian Hanie specialized in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family properties for Magellan Commercial Realty, Inc.  Because of his prior experience handling 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, Brian is able to offer his clients unparalleled service selling their asseets and leveraging their proceeds into new investment vehicles.  He has assisted his clients with multi-family transactions in all of the major sub-markets in the Dallas/Fort area. 

Prior to joining Magellan Commercial, Brian worked at Phillips Commercial Real Estate, Inc. as an Investment Consultant assisting private investors with the acquisition and disposition of multi-family properties. 

Prior to joining Phillips, Brian was a real estate salesman for Coldwell Banker Apex Realtors in East Dallas for five years.  He was the recipient of the firm's President's Award for 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Brian lives in Rockwall with his wife, Connie, and five daughters.  Because he lives so close to Lake Ray Hubbard, in his spare time Brian enjoys going to the lake fishing, skiing, and cooking out with his family.  He also enjoys his hobby of researching property management skills and analyzing different strategies of income-property acquisition during various market cycles.
